Aurora Aksnes was born 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora or sometimes stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval by music blogs and the media. She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway from her side, gave it some more recognition. It was her birthday celebration.
